Cougars head to playoffs on winning note

Senior night is always a special night.
Thursday night, the Charleroi boys followed the girls’ upset win over Beth-Center with a 73-50 win over the Bulldogs in the second game of the senior night doubleheader.
It was a special night, too, for Beth-Center’s JJ Green picked up his 1,000th-career point in a losing effort.
While the Cougars’ four seniors were honored, it was Marty Foster leading his team on a 11-0 run to push the Cougars to a 19-10 lead.
