Over the past few years, California University’s Convocation Center has served as a house of horrors of sorts for women’s basketball teams visiting the facility.
Since January 2016, the Vulcans have defended their home court with a tremendous amount of success, winning 44 straight home games before seeing that streak come to an end Saturday afternoon.
Cal U saw a 19-point first quarter advantage disappear in the final frame of a 62-61 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference loss to Edinboro.
The Vulcans (18-3, 12-3) led 25-6 after the first 10 minutes of play before enduring offensive struggles in the final three quarters and being outscored, 56-36.
