Roscoe card club still going strong

Anything goes around the card table, except gossip.
For the past 68 years, every other Wednesday a group of Roscoe women have gathered for their bi-monthly euchre game.
But don’t let their smiles and laughs fool you. Despite the eight women’s lifelong friendships, after the hands are dealt they becomes highly competitive.
The original members of the group, Arlene Vesley, Bonnie Lewis, Janet Bitonti, Donna Salvina, the late Beverly Lewis and Mary Jo Smith began playing cards together when they were teenagers in high school.
