Coming off last year’s disappointing loss in their opening game of the WPIAL playoffs last year, the Serra Catholic boys basketball team has switched things up.
Head coach Justin Walther said his team’s preparation has been the exact opposite of what it was last season.
The Eagles (18-3), seeded second in the 2A bracket, will face No. 7 Sto-Rox tonight at 8 p.m. at Peters Township.
Serra Catholic has only lost one game this season to 2A competition, a four-point decision at Sewickley Academy on Dec. 11, its third game of the season.
