Aiden Fisher, a second grader at Ringgold Elementary South, has an application waiting for him at the Monongahela Police Department — even though he has a few years to go before he can join the police academy.
The son of Angelina and Rick Fisher V of Monongahela, Aiden was assigned to complete an aspiring career project at school. It didn’t take him long to decide because he has always wanted to be a police officer.
The project required him to choose a career and create a poster board outlining the job — after research, of course.
His step-mother, Angelina, reached out on social media in hopes of arranging a meeting with local police officers for some hands-on research.
