Serra Catholic head coach Justin Walther knows for his team to earn a trip to Hershey, the road is significantly tougher after Saturday’s first-round win over Penns Manor.
The Eagles (21-4) face their first challenge tonight when they travel to Slippery Rock University’s Morrow Field House to face District 10 champion Farrell (22-3).
The Eagles topped Penns Manor, 79-44, Saturday but Walther knows this game will be a challenge.
“This is why we played the games we did all season,” Walther said. “That’s why we scheduled the Penn Hills, the Highlands and Seton-LaSalle, to prepare us for this time of season and games just like we’re going to play (tonight).”
