Allegheny County Health Department released a revised enforcement order Tuesday announcing new regulations for three plants, including Clairton Coke Works.
As part of the plant’s desulfurization process, U.S. Steel will be required to install six aerial compressors and begin testing by April 1.

On Friday, U.S. Steel issued an updated timeline for repairs to the desulfurization equipment damaged during a Dec. 24 fire.
