Margaret ‘Peggy’ Lamp Winkleblech – Monongahela
Margaret “Peggy” Lamp Winkleblech, 83, of Monongahela, died Sunday, March 10, 2019, in the Haven Crest Nursing Center, Monongahela. She was born Nov. 11, 1935, in Brownsville, the daughter of Allen and Evelyn Richards Barger. Peggy attended the First Baptist Church and was formerly employed by Henson Maintenance, both in Monongahela. She loved working on puzzles of all kinds, dancing, taking walks and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Janice Meehan of New Eagle; son, James Lamp and wife Chrissy of Pittsburgh; seven grandchildren, Charles Lamp, Jenny, Mark and Regina Meehan, Gabe, Abby and Ally Lamp; great-granddaughter, Madison Meehan; two sisters, Jonnetta Vance of Michigan, Martigale Cooke of Charleroi; In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles Lamp; son-in-law, Mark E. Meehan, who died Jan. 10, 2019; grandson, Ryan Patrick Meehan, who died July 20, 2015; brother, William Barger; and three sisters, Dorothy Carr, Viola Brooks and Dottie Collins. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2019, at the FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2019, with the Rev. Mark Schollaert officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Monongahela Cemetery.
