Dance gesture unites friends against bullying

Friday was the “best day ever” for Louden Stanko thanks to a sweet gesture by one of his classmates at Ringgold Middle School.
Eighth grader Karley Kray had been planning the surprise, asking Louden to the Sadie Hawkins dance, for about a week.
With the help of her mother, Jamie, Louden’s mother, Janelle, and school faculty and administration she was able to pull it off in a very big way Friday — in front of an entire cafeteria of their classmates, with balloons and a pun-filled poster adorned with candy bar wrappers.
Leading up to the big moment, Karley was riddled with excitement — and nervousness — worried that Louden might say no, but she would soon find out there was no reason to be worried.
