Hearings for two people charged in a pre-dawn drug bust March 1 in Monessen have been postponed.
Eric Emerson, 30, and Kim Jackson, 45, both of Summit Avenue in Monessen, had their hearings continued from Friday morning to April 12 in Monessen’s Magisterial District Court.
Since his arrest, Emerson has posted $50,000 in bail and is free. Jackson was released on her own recognizance.
Monessen police describe Emerson as a mid-level drug dealer. His home was raided by police and Drug Enforcement Agency detectives after an investigation.
In Emerson’s bedroom, Monessen Officer Jeffrey Smaracheck wrote, police allegedly found a backpack that contained four handguns — a Springfield .45 caliber, a Highpoint 9mm, a Smith & Wesson .380 caliber and a Bersa .380 caliber.
