Downtown Monessen entered in community revitalization contest

Downtown Monessen is now a contender in a national community revitalization competition.
Last month, the Monessen Community Development Corporation scored a nomination for the fourth annual America’s Main Streets Contest sponsored by Stihl brand’s Independent We Stand.
A nationwide movement of independent small business owners, Independent We Stand’s mission is to inspire and educate others about the importance and benefits of supporting small businesses.
The America’s Main Streets Contest helps consumers, small business owners and main street organizations reward a deserving community with cash and prizes to help revitalize their main thoroughfare.
