Mon City man accused of abusing baby

A Monongahela man accused of abusing a 4-month-old baby he was babysitting in December was arrested Friday.
James M. Manges III, 36, of Stockdale Avenue is charged with aggravated assault of a victim less than 13, aggravated assault of a victim less than 6, endangering the welfare of children, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.
Manges was arraigned Friday morning before Magisterial District Judge Mark Wilson in Monongahela and placed in the Washington County Correctional Facility in lieu of $250,000 cash bond.
Monongahela police Officer Roderic Henson said he responded to a medical emergency in the 400 block of Stockdale Avenue Dec. 13 for an unresponsive baby having a seizure.
