Forward Twp. to host carry permit, drug disposal events

The Allegheny County Sheriff’s department will hold two satellite events in Forward Township next month.

The firearms license to carry and project D.U.M.P. event will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 4 at the municipal building.

Township Supervisor Dave Magiske said Allegheny Sheriff’s Deputy Ryan Foster informed them that Sheriff Bill Mullen approved the permit-to-carry event.

The Sheriff’s Office Firearms Division handles the issuance of licenses to sell and carry firearms.
