Most of the charges were dismissed Wednesday against members of two Elizabeth Township families who were involved in a neighborhood fight in September.
The ongoing dispute turned into a bloody brawl involving a hunting knife and garden tools on Sept. 13, with three men being sent to the hospital.
Township officers said there has been an ongoing dispute between the Forkeys and the Pionteks that prompted numerous complaints and police responses to both residences. Police had warned both families that neither was permitted to trespass on the other’s property.
The Pionteks reside in the 400 block of Lincoln Street and the Forkeys live in the 100 block of Long Street.
