A group of fourth grade students from Rostraver Elementary were honored by Rostraver Township commissioners for creating educational materials after being inspired by a science lesson.
During a business meeting April 3, commissioners recognized students from Jennifer Barkey’s class for creating educational artwork about the township being an MS4 Community.
MS4 stands for Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System.
The program is regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Environmental Protection.
