EF honors top winter athletes

Students were recognized for outstanding achievement in winter athletics at Wednesday’s Elizabeth Forward school board meeting.

Of the 13 honored, eight students were in attendance to receive their awards.

Troy Scott was acknowledged as Pennsylvania’s Junior Wrestling Youth State champion and Justin Patton for winning eighth place.

Dakota Buchina, Christopher Bruce, Ryan Michaels and Noah Hunnell were recognized as WPIAL wrestling AA Team second round qualifiers.
