Trial ordered in alleged sexual assault of 8-year-old girl

A West Newton man accused of sexually assaulting an 8-year-old girl has been ordered to stand trial in Westmoreland County Court.

David L. Hresko, 32, of Greensburg Pike appeared Monday before Magisterial District Judge Charles Christner in Rostraver Township for a preliminary hearing.

State police at the Greensburg barracks charged Hresko April 10 with two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child and one count each of unlawful contact with a minor, aggravated indecent assault of a person less than 13, endangering the welfare of children, corruption of minors and indecent exposure.

The Mon Valley Independent does not identify alleged victims of sexual assaults.
