Entering the top of the seventh inning of Thursday’s WPIAL Section 1-4A softball matchup against Uniontown, Yough pitcher Kierra Waywood was working on a no-hitter, allowing just one batter to reach via walk up to that point.

After getting the first out of the inning, the Cal U recruit surrendered her first hit of the day on a bloop single to left.
