Traffic was at a standstill Tuesday afternoon as PennDOT crews worked to stabilize a portion of state Route 201 between Fayette City and Washington Township.
Multiple trucks were on site, with workers reinforcing a caged retention fence installed on the cliff face along the eastern side of the roadway.
Additionally, large, concrete jersey barriers were placed at the base of the hill, running approximately 150 feet along the berm.
Both lanes of traffic were briefly closed Thursday following an early-morning landslide near Ricker’s Market.
