Mary L. O’Bradovich Worry, 98, of Belle Vernon, Washington Township, passed away Monday, May 6, 2019, at Holy Family Manor, Pittsburgh. Born Nov. 11, 1920, in North Huntingdon, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Susie Pekar O’Bradovich. A resident of Belle Vernon for more than 70 years, Mrs. Worry was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon and the former Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, Fayette City. Mrs. Worry retired from the Belle Vernon Area School District, where she worked as a custodian. Mary was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan, enjoyed baking, knitting, crocheting and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Sam McCalmont of Sewickley; son and daughter-in-law, Vic and Kathy Worry of Royersford, Pa.; grandchildren, Michael L. Worry, Meredith Victoria McCalmont; two sisters-in-law, Helen Worry of Perryopolis, Sara Worry of Belle Vernon; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Worry, in 2006; brothers, Fred “Fritz,” Eli, Nick O’Bradovich, an infant brother, Louis O’Bradovich; and sisters, Mildred Knezevich, Sarah Biegenwald, Angelina Bell, Louise Krivi and Sophie O’Bradovich. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Prayers of Transfer will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Elmer Alforque as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Mary Worry at 3 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Mary L. Worry to Holy Family Manor 301 Bellevue Rd., Pittsburgh, PA, 15229, Gateway Hospice, or St. Sebastian Church.
