8 students cited for alcohol use at Relay for Life

Eight Belle Vernon Area High School students have been cited for underage drinking at a charity event.

Charleroi Regional police Chief Eric Porter said Friday that all the students receiving non-traffic citations are female. Four are juveniles and are not identified in court records, he added.

Among those cited for purchasing/etc. alcoholic beverages by minors are Tatum M. Rodriguez, Ashley Marie Dolfi, Delaney J. Johnson and Tori C. Callaway, who are all 18-year-old seniors.

Rodriguez was crowned the high school’s homecoming queen in October, while Callaway was a member of the homecoming court.
