A New Eagle man is accused of impersonating a police officer by conducting a traffic stop Sunday on the Monongahela Bridge, then threatening officers who were called to the scene.
Dean J. Parasolick, 48, of Fourth Avenue, is charged with four counts of terroristic threats, one count each of unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, impersonating a public servant, disorderly conduct and two counts of false reports to law enforcement.
Forward Township police officer Daniel Verno said he was called to a road rage incident on Rainbow Run Road near the Monongahela bridge around 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
Verno said Parasolick told him he stopped a red Nissan vehicle because he suspected the driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
