Wickstrom’s Greyhounds set to battle No. 4 Sewickley Academy

The Monessen and Sewickley Academy softball teams have something in common going into their WPIAL Class A playoff game Tuesday at Peters Township.
The Greyhounds (6-9) started the season with a new coach in Carlee Wickstrom after veteran coach Bo Teets resigned from the position.
The Panthers (8-3) saw their 14-year head coach Win Palmer suddenly step down at mid-season with Heather Border and Shannon Rankin named interim co-coaches.
However, that’s pretty much where the similarity ends between the 13th seeded Greyhounds and No. 4 Panthers.
