The Charleroi Area School Board is going all in — and back to the drawing board — for its students as it plans a 2019-20 budget.
During a special budget meeting Monday, Business Manager Crystal Clark presented a balanced budget proposal of $25.171 million, about $1 million more than last year.
Proposed expenditures are 57% funded by state sources, 40% by local sources and 3% by federal sources.
If approved as is in the coming weeks, the current millage rate of 16.3806 would increase by .5569 mills to 16.9375 mils.
