The second season has begun for the Frazier softball team and head coach Don Hartman couldn’t be more excited. And why not?
Frazier has won a WPIAL championship and finished as runner-up over the past two seasons.
“I get really amped up when it comes to playoff time,” Hartman said. “The past few days I’ve been real excited and I come out and try to keep them excited. It’s the best time of the season, this is what you play for.”
First up on the fifth-seeded Commodores’ road to the WPIAL Class 2A championship is No. 12 Apollo-Ridge 4 p.m. Wednesday at Latrobe.
