Pennsylvania will hold “1-4-3 Day” on Thursday to celebrate the life of Fred Rogers, longtime host of “Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood.”
Gov. Tom Wolf is calling on all state residents, especially those who live in Southwestern Pennsylvania, to R.S.V.P. for the event.
Rogers’ friends and family members revealed last year in the documentary “Won’t You Be My Neighbor” that the late, iconic children’s television show host found the number 143 special.
“It takes one letter to say I and four letters to say love and three letters to say you,” he said. “One hundred and forty-three.”
