Dominic Campana grew up in Monessen, but now lives in a Brooklyn, N.Y., apartment with a counter displaying his four Sports Emmy awards.
Campana, 34, earned these Emmys as part of the group that creates “MLB Tonight,” a live television program from the Major League Baseball Network that delivers baseball news to viewers around the country.
“I want to stress that it’s a very large team,” Campana said. “We all win an Emmy.”
He started with MLB Network in 2012, four years after graduating with a bachelor of arts in communication from Seton Hall University in New Jersey.
For the bulk of his time at MLB, he was a researcher for programs like “The Rundown,” in addition to “MLB Tonight,” which has been recognized numerous times by the Sports Emmy awards. Campana worked on the “MLB Tonight” team for four Emmy wins.
