Three McKeesport men and a Turtle Creek man have been ordered to stand trial in connection with a shooting that occurred outside of Monroeville Mall on April 12.
WTAE-TV reported Monday that 12 surveillance camera images that were entered into evidence helped make the prosecution’s case, as four suspects were held for court. Each of the defendants is charged with a felony count of rioting, while one of them faces trial on an attempted homicide count.
According to Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen Zappala Jr., a physical fight began inside the mall between two alleged McKeesport gangs — one from Crawford Village and one from Harrison Village.
The prosecution Monday presented video evidence that allegedly shows Fordery Andre Morris IV of McKeesport and another suspect, Brandon Murphy, who’s from Harrison Village and is still at large, fighting inside the mall, WTAE reported.
