Trojans begin state title quest

With the celebration of its sixth WPIAL championship in program history now in the past, the California baseball team is switching its focus.
After all, three more wins and Cal gets the opportunity to play for PIAA gold.
The WPIAL Class A champion Trojans open the PIAA playoffs at 1:30 p.m. today against Rockwood, the runnersup from District 5, at Greater Latrobe High School.
After having four days off following their 9-6 championship victory over Union on Tuesday, the Trojans (18-1) were back at practice Sunday and kept the mood light as always.
