Grebb League holds Girls Division draft

The J. Budd Grebb Memorial Summer Basketball League Girls Division kicked off its season with the annual player draft Friday at Cedarbrook Golf Course.

The theme for this season could be turnover.

A number of players decided not to come out for their respective teams this season, some declared free agency and reentered the draft pool and nearly half of the league is made up of new players.

“There are just as many new players as there are returning players,” Commissioner Melanie Greco said.
