A celebration was held Monday at Douglas Education Center to mark the opening of a new massage therapy facility.
The program, which is now accepting students, will begin in September. It will cover multiple aspects of massage therapy, from anatomy and physiology to the laws and regulations of setting up self-employment.
Jeff Imbrescia, DEC chief executive officer/president, said offering massage therapy is an exciting opportunity for the DEC.
“We are always looking to try new things and to continue offering programs that fuel entrepreneurial spirit for our students, where they can make good money and have life-sustaining work,” he said.
