Mary J. Hetland – Belle Vernon
Mary J. Hetland, 69, of Belle Vernon, died Sunday, June 16, 2019. Born in Crookston, Minn., on Nov. 27, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Oreen and Fern Hetland. A homemaker, Mary loved collecting pictures of her grandkids, whom she dearly loved. She also enjoyed reading. She is survived by her daughter, DeAnna Anderson of Belle Vernon; grandchildren, Sarah Turner, Rebecca Anderson and Brian Mercer; great-grandchildren; Matthew Rock and Jason Rock; brother, Paul Hetland; and sisters, Penny Perry, Tammy Moe, Nancy Hobbs and Peggy Nelson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Arthur Turner; sister, Janice Fay; brother-in-law, John Perry Jr.; and niece, Leah Perry. There will be no public visitation.
