Auberle, a McKeesport- based social service agency, announced Thursday that Pittsburgh-based Ward Home will be a consolidated subsidiary of Auberle effective July 1.
“Ward Home’s name and corporation entity will remain the same,” a release from Auberle states. “No major changes to Ward Home’s staff or programs are expected at this time. The office of the PA Attorney General has reviewed and signed off on the collaboration.”
Auberle CEO John Patrick Lydon sees the consolidation as an opportunity to improve services to “a vulnerable population.”
“We’re honored that Ward Home has asked Auberle to do this,” Lydon said. “Ward Home has been an important partner for our young people both with “Supervised Independent Living” (program) and its “My Best Self” program.
