Campy’s Pizza begins its quest for a third consecutive title, while five other squads look to slay the defending champions when the J. Budd Grebb Memorial Summer Basketball League’s boys division kicks off its 11th season Tuesday at the Mechanic Street Playground in California.
A 7 p.m. matchup between BeeGraphix and Tri-County Realty will start the season and be followed up by an 8 p.m. contest pitting Farmers Insurance against Campy’s in a rematch of last year’s championship game.
Campy’s topped Farmers, 87-68, on Aug. 2 to claim its second straight championship.
The tripleheader will conclude with Dairy Queen taking on Union Cleaners at 9 p.m.
In the case of inclement weather, games will be played indoors at California Middle School.
