Dari Durigon, who describes herself as a picky vegetarian, wasn’t sure she could find something to her liking at Pho Valley, a new Vietnamese restaurant in Carroll Township.
Duong Pham, one of the owners, whipped up a specialty dish for her and explained how it was made.
“Not knowing anything about Vietnamese food, I was very impressed,” said Durigon, who was there with Bill Nofsinger. “And I tell you what, he’s wonderful. I love it. I will be back.”
Pham and his wife, Lam Hong, originally from Vietnam, opened the restaurant, which replaced the County Club Deli, on June 5.
