Cook moves forward with LSA audit

A state legislator is continuing his efforts to audit a grant organization in Washington County.

Rep. Bud Cook, R-West Pike Run Township, said state Auditor General Eugene DePasquale has received his formal request for an audit of the Washington County Local Share Account grant program.

Local Share Account money comes from gaming revenues from the Meadows Racetrack and Casino.

Cook said his office will provide DePasquale with additional information as requested.
