Reward offered for information on fatal stabbing in McKeesport

Pittsburgh Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s assistance with a homicide investigation in McKeesport.
The organization is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest and the prosecution of anyone involved in the fatal stabbing of 48-year-old Irvin Green of Pittsburgh.
Shortly after 5:30 p.m. May 8, McKeesport police responded to a 911 call for a man who had been stabbed on Evans Avenue, according to Allegheny County Homicide detectives, who are handling the investigation.
The victim, later identified by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office as Green, was found in the street in front of 1231 Evans Ave. He was suffering from a stab wound to his upper chest.
