A McKeesport man was charged this week after firing a gun at a group of teenagers whom he claims were trying to break into his house.
Mustafa Musa, 74, of Locust Street is charged with disorderly conduct, six counts of aggravated assault and three counts each of recklessly endangering another person and simple assault.
McKeesport police were sent to Musa’s home on the 1400 block of Locust Street around 11:20 p.m. June 7 after Allegheny County 911 received reports of shots fired and a possible home invasion.
Officers spoke with two neighbors, Dan Bowling, who told them he heard three or four gunshots, and Delores Sledge, who said she saw two or three “light-skinned males” near the intersection of Locust and 13th streets.
When she heard gunshots, she checked her car and found that a few dollars in change had been stolen and that her wallet, which had been in the car, was in the middle of the road empty.
