Charleroi traffic stop leads to drug arrest

A Monessen woman was found with a variety of drugs in a traffic stop Thursday, according to Charleroi Regional Police.
Diamond S. Jackson, 25, is charged with manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance, intent to possess a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana for personal use, use or possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.
Police said Jackson was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped on McKean Avenue after failing to use a turn signal on First Street.
Officers reported a strong smell of alcohol and marijuana that was coming from the vehicle.
