A verbal spat between state Rep. Bud Cook, R-West Pike Run Township, and Washington County Tourism Promotion Agency board member Mark Alterici followed Cook’s kickoff meeting Tuesday for what he is calling the “Local Share Account Informational Tour.”
Cook has been trying to call attention to the Washington County LSA grant program since his re-election campaign last year.

The money comes from gaming revenues generated by the Meadows Racetrack and Casino.
