A woman who allegedly impersonated a personal care aide to gain access to a McKeesport man’s apartment and then rob him is in jail.
McKeeba L. Sifford, 43, is listed in an affidavit of probable cause as being homeless. She is charged with robbery and defiant trespass.
When McKeesport police arrived at the McKeesport Towers apartment complex around 7:45 a.m. Sunday morning, resident Dennis Holmes told them that a female, later identified as Sifford, knocked on his door and said she worked for Integrity Healthcare, a company that serves senior citizens and those with disabilities, and she needed access to his apartment.
Holmes said he was expecting an aide from Integrity to come to his apartment, so he opened the door.
