No easy answers to shootings

As the country is mourning the loss of more than 30 people who were killed in two mass shootings over the weekend, area legislators are trying to figure out a seemingly impossible solution to a tragic problem.
In the Texas border city of El Paso, a gunman opened fire Saturday morning in a Walmart shopping area packed with thousands of families. Two more victims died Monday, raising the number of fatalities to 22.
Hours later in Dayton, Ohio, a gunman wearing body armor and carrying extra magazines opened fire in a popular nightlife area, killing nine and wounding at least 26.
Area lawmakers say there are not easy answers to these tragedies.
