Margaret M. Harvey – Pittsburgh, formerly of Monongahela
Margaret M. Harvey, 91 of Pittsburgh, formerly of Monongahela, died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2019, at The Little Sisters of the Poor in Pittsburgh. Born Jan. 20, 1928, in New Eagle, she was the daughter of Edward and Ellen Higgins Harvey. Margaret attended Monongahela High School and worked for 49 years at the former McCrory’s 5&10 in Monongahela. She was a member of St. Damien of Molokai Parish (former Transfiguration Church) in Monongahela and belonged to their Altar Rosary Christian Mother Society. Surviving are three brothers, Father John A. Harvey of West Mifflin, Thomas J. and wife Angie Harvey of Roanoke, Va., and Charles F. and wife Virginia Harvey of Iselin, N.J.; along with four nieces, two nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceding her in death was a brother, Father William E. Harvey. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at The Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15212, with a Mass of Christian burial to follow in the chapel beginning at 11a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, 2019.
