Jefferson Hills among safest areas

Jefferson Hills can add another accomplishment to its list of achievements.

The borough was named among the top 10 safest cities in the state in the 2019 “Safest Cities to Live in Pennsylvania” report compiled by Backgroundchecks.org. The website is an internet resource and database of public records.

Jefferson Hills was named to the 10th spot, while Upper St. Clair claimed the ninth spot, Cecil Township was sixth and Whitehall came in fourth.

Munhall took the honor of being named the safest city in the state.
