It’s time to rewrite the Charleroi boys soccer record books.
With his goal Tuesday in the Cougars’ 4-0 win at Southmoreland, Cullin Woytovich scored his 85th career goal to break the program’s all-time goal-scoring mark.
“Cullin has matured over the years as a player and you can tell through his game,” Charleroi coach Jon Ducoli said. “He’s more poised and looks for openings to capitalize on. Even though they put three guys on him tonight, he was able to put on in the back of the net and get his record.”
The Cougars’ win upped their section-winning streak to 19 games.
Most of the familiar faces were back on the pitch for Charleroi and contributed to the win.
