Port Vue council said goodbye to longtime police Chief Bryan Myers this week.
For more than 40 years, Myers has been part of the borough in some capacity. A lifelong Port Vue resident, Myers, 69, served on council for 10 years and as mayor for eight years.
An active member of his community, he served as Port Vue American Legion Commander for three years. He is a 25-year member of the Port Vue Vigilant Hose Company No. 1, a member of the ambulance service and was a member of the Port Vue Blue Rock Club.
