Historic start for Leps

Heading into the season, a general consensus was Trinity was the team to beat when it came to boys soccer in Section 3-3A.
As of right now, though, there’s a different top dog – or cat – in the section.
Belle Vernon Area, behind the strong play of goalkeeper TJ Watson and two goals from Niko Apodiakos, shut out the Hillers, 3-0, Tuesday at James Weir Stadium.
The Leopards move to 6-0 on the season, the best start in program history.
