A Port Vue man was sentenced in federal court Wednesday to 15 years imprisonment, followed by 10 years of supervised release, on his conviction of violating federal narcotics laws.
U.S. Attorney Scott W. Brady said U.S. District Court Judge Cathy Bissoon imposed the sentence on 38-year-old Jarran Bell.
Court records show that the investigation, which utilized wiretaps from December 2014 through April 2015, established the existence of a number of overlapping and interrelated drug distribution networks in Clairton, McKeesport, Port Vue, areas in Washington and Westmoreland counties and New Jersey.
Bell and his girlfriend, Krystle Barretto, 33, of Port Vue, were living together during the investigation, according to Brady.
