The Mon Valley Alliance has rejected two separate officers to purchase the Coyle Theater.
On Tuesday, Mon Valley Alliance CEO Ben Brown said the offers, submitted by Mike McCarty, owner of MTI, a technology management company in Rockledge, Fla., and Sound Spectrum Media CEO Eric Kellermann, a McKeesport-based production company, were officially rejected for “lack of funding and no evidence to support the ability to renovate or restore the structure, among other items.”
Kellermann and McCarty submitted offers of undisclosed amounts to the organization earlier this month in hopes of purchasing the vacant theater before demolition begins.
