The Charleroi Area School Board business meeting was bittersweet Tuesday night as the board accepted the resignation of longtime business manager Crystal Clark.
Clark has been with the district for 10 years, forming a strong bond with school directors, Superintendent Dr. Ed Zelich and staff.
She said the move came after accepting a position in a neighboring district.
School Board President Ken Wiltz said his heart was heavy as he asked for a motion to accept the resignation.
“We are going to miss you dearly; we love you dearly,” Wiltz said to Clark. “But we also wish you the best of luck in your new position and know you’ll do a great job.”
